Our Zero-Data Promise
LobsterQuest collects zero personal data. We store nothing, ever, about the people who use this application — and nothing about the choices they make.
Why we collect nothing
This is an entertainment experience, not a service that needs to know who you are. There is no account, no login, no registration, and no reason for us to record a single thing about you. We built the app so that it simply cannot collect your data — not because we promise not to, but because the capability does not exist in the code.
What we do not do
No cookies, no tracking pixels, no analytics, no third-party scripts.
No database. There is nowhere for your data to be stored.
No logging of your actions, choices, or navigation.
No collection of your name, email, location, device details, or any other identifier.
The camera and the microphone
The QR scanner uses your camera only while you are actively scanning, and the frames are processed entirely inside your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, sent, or saved. The text-to-speech feature runs locally on your device using your browser's own speech engine — no audio is transmitted to any server.
What happens when you leave
When you close the page or your connection drops, every trace of your visit is gone. There is no record of you having been here. We could not produce your data in a legal request, because we never had it.
This statement describes the actual, verifiable behaviour of the application. The source code contains no data-collection capability.
